Thang Long Cement JSC (“TLCC”) held a gratitude party for distributors in the Northern region of Vietnam

As annually, in order to express our deep thanks to the distributors and loyal customers who have always accompanied us to overcome difficulties and challenges, and together with us overview the achievement of the past year, on 22^nd January, 2024, TLCC has organized Year End Pary 2023 with our customers at Muong Thanh Grand Hotel, Ha Long City, Quang Ninh.

The year 2023 has passed with many difficulties and challenges for the construction materials industry in general and the cement industry in particular resulting from the global Covid-19 pandemic. The increase of input material price has directly impacted the production cost, as well as the low demand has led to the oversupply, the low disbursement rates and slow progress happened to many projects in the whole country, at the same time export orders have been stagnant. Besides, the launch of many low price brands makes market competition even more fierce. Cement plants coped up with the situation where the more they produced, the more they lost because the products sold are lower than their production cost. Many plants must be closed and stop operation to minimize losses. Not giving up such difficulties, TLCC still maintains production activities in addition to researching and finding best solutions to reduce production costs while the high quality of products is still guaranteed. In 2024, the difficulties and challenges are forecasted to be still there, but we believe that thanks to the kind support, solidarity from our customers, we will create strength to move towards new goals, new success to bring mutual benefits in the future.
