SBM ITB Students Visit Thang Long Cement Plant: Bridging Theory and Practice

On November 28, 2024, Thang Long Cement proudly welcomed a group of students from the School of Business and Management (SBM) of Institute Technology of Bandung, Indonesia. This visit was part of a series of activities aimed at connecting theory with practice, enabling students to apply their acquired knowledge to real-world work. It was also an opportunity for the company to connect with high-quality human resource training institutions, opening up many future cooperation opportunities.

On this occasion, students were given a plant tour and introduced to the production line, from raw material to finished products, gaining a deeper understanding of the complex technological processes in the cement industry. At the meeting, the company's leaders also shared about the company's history, vision, mission, achievements, and development strategy in the context of fierce competition in the Vietnamese cement industry.

With the knowledge equipped in the "Doing Business in Asia" course and practical experience, students had the opportunity to analyze and evaluate real business issues at a cement manufacturing enterprise in Vietnam. After listening to the company's sharing, students also directly exchanged and contributed some ideas for the company's development.

The meeting was a great success, leaving a deep impression on the students. We hope that the knowledge and experience gained from the visit will help students become more confident in pursuing their careers.
