Technical production line

The synchronous cement production line of Thang Long cement JSC is supplied by Plysius under the prestigious ThyssenKrupp Groupd- The Federal  of Germany. The capacity of it reaches 6.000 tons of clinker per day, equivalent to 2.3 million tons of cement PCB40 per year. (This is the biggest capacity of in Vietnam up to now)

Main characteristics
- The 2-string heat exchanging tower system with 5 stages of cyclones and a calciner can degrade the fine powder up to 90% before feeding it rotary kiln.
- The rotary clinker kiln is manufactured under the most modern technology today with 2 rotary support rollers self-operating flexibly. A fast clinker cooler with high efficiency can provide enough amount of hot air for the whole heating process in the kiln and Calciner.
- The synchronous production line and automatic operation of the system produce products with high quality and stability at optimal level of material consumtion.

Quality management
With aim of producing products with leading world-class quality, Thang Long Cement JSC invested in the most modern Quality Management System. This system includes a series of automatic controlling computers and latest X-rays machine. All machines and equipments are controlled by optimal specialized applications in the activity of materials and powder’s quality management: analyzing exactly, generating reasonable material mixing proportions at minimum error, providing statistics on powder forming ratio, analyzing compositions of input materials, clinker, and cement exactly.

The Process of Operation

1. Raw Materials Mining and Crushing
Limestone and clay exploited will be transported to the Crushing Station by trucks. They are both crushed with together here. This method increases the homogeneity of  raw materials and reduces the amount of exhaust dust to a minimum. After being inter-crushed, the raw materials will pass through the random gama ray system Analyzer for monitoring  and adjusting the chemical compositions of the mixture of  limestone, clay.
2. Temporary storage  and raw materials mixing
From the Crushing Station,  raw materials will be conveyed into the circular storage by belt conveyor. Raw materials will be pre-blended before feeding into the mill
3. Dosing
The dosing unit  supplies raw materials to the mill with the quantity and compositions as required.
4. Raw materials grinding
Raw materials will be Ground in the raw mill to  the required fineness. Then, raw meal will be Fed into the raw meal homogenizing silo.
5. Blending
Raw meal will be  equally blended  and stored in the homogenizing silo  and will be then  conveyed to the  Pre-heater Tower
6. Pre-heater and Calciner
Raw meal will be preburned  in the Cyclone Pre-heater Tower and  will  be disintegrated in  the Calciner.
7. Burning
Raw meal will  be burned at the  temperature of  about 41,450oC  in the rotary kiln  to make Clinker.
8. Clinker cooling
Almost all  developed  heat from  the process of clinker cooling will be  recovered to  be utilized for  production.
9. Clinker storing
Clinker storage  is the feeding  station for  the clinker  grinding stage  to produce cement later
10. Cement grinding
Additives applied  in the process of clinker grinding  are to make  cement products  with required  grades and sorts.
11. Storing, packing and  transporting
Finished cement will be conveyed into 2 Cement Silos of  Pcb30 and Pcb40. Then, cement will be  unloaded by waterway  and by roadway in the  form of bagged, bulk  cement.
